Import your diary: bring what you already wrote, without starting over
Upload a backup, a file from another app or an email, check what will be imported and confirm. Days that already have text are left as they are.
Bring back a backup
Upload the ZIP that idazery exports (JSON or Markdown), or TXT files, and your entries come back with their mood and images. Journal restores the diary part; Complete also brings back tasks, topics, reminders and notes.
Coming from another app?
Day One and Journey have their own import: export your journal from the app, upload the ZIP here and idazery brings the entries over. Day One allows several entries a day: the ones of the same day are joined into one.
If your app can export one file per day, that works too.
Or by email
Send an email to your idazery address with the date in the subject and its text becomes the entry of that day.
Check before you import
You see a preview before anything is imported, and any error in the file is listed so you can fix it. Days that already have text are skipped: nothing you wrote is overwritten.
